Powerpoint 2007 slide show too slow? - heres the fix
If your Powerpoint 2007 is too slow when you try to start a slide show and end the slide show, your default printer (most likely HP) is the culprit. Switch to a lighter default printer - something like document converter and you will find the issue disappear. enjoy!!

Thanks for that.. I face some similar prob. while opening any word doc as well.. Guess the same technique will solve that prob as well..
